Advancing education in emerging technologies —
for a world where knowledge creates opportunity.
Chronovate Foundation Limited is a Hong Kong-registered charitable organisation dedicated to advancing education and research in emerging technologies globally. We believe that the frontiers of knowledge — artificial intelligence, biotechnology, digital law, and beyond — must be made accessible to students, scholars, and institutions worldwide.
Founded in 2025, the Foundation operates with a commitment to transparency, academic independence, and long-term impact. Our work spans scholarships, research grants, and partnerships with leading universities across the world.
The Foundation's charitable objects are enshrined in its Articles of Association, registered under the Companies Ordinance (Cap. 622) of Hong Kong.
Promote and support education and research in emerging technologies globally — including artificial intelligence, biotechnology, digital law, and interdisciplinary fields at the intersection of technology and society.
Offer, distribute, and support prizes, awards, and scholarships to students and researchers who demonstrate outstanding achievement or promise in relevant fields.
Ensure that findings from Foundation-funded research are made publicly available, contributing to the global commons of knowledge and advancing public understanding of emerging technologies.
Make charitable donations globally to institutions and organisations whose objects align with the Foundation's mission, supporting educational initiatives across jurisdictions.
We invest in the people and institutions shaping tomorrow — through sustained, long-term commitments.
In 2025, Chronovate Foundation established the Chronovate Fund (时创基金) at Fudan University's Koguan Law School — one of China's foremost centres for interdisciplinary legal scholarship, and a leading voice in the emerging field of technology law.
The Fund provides RMB 100,000 annually over ten years (2025–2034), totalling RMB 1,000,000, to support the development of cross-disciplinary programmes at the intersection of law, technology, and society.
